Thank you for your response.

I do understand that Office 2013 can exist installed and used in dissimilar continents, but the issue for me (and others) is that my piece of work frequently takes me to different continents and countries for 1 to two weeks at a time, and so home again. When I am on a job site, it is totally impractical to delay work to activate Office 2013. I don't always have a good internet connection, and I don't always speak the local language or have access to a local telephone without additional charges.

That may be true. I'one thousand installing Office Pro Plus 2010 on my laptop. But On my desktop, I can't install Office Starter 2010. Why is not compatible with Windows viii.1?
