LG's 2022 OLED TVs include new 42-inch model, brighter OLED panels

LG Electronics has taken to CES 2022 with its refreshed 4K and 8K Television set lineup, introducing sweeping changes across its 4K OLEDs, coupled with updated Mini LED QNED TVs. The manufacturer has also entered the new year with plans to expand its pinnacle-end "Evo" panel to its C-tier displays while introducing new 42- and 97-inch models inside the premium offerings.

2022 sees LG's "Gallery" series dorsum with more refinements, adopting its OLED Evo console, with improved heat dissipation and brightness-geared algorithms to accommodate higher summit brightness. It aims to tackle previous criticisms confronting LG's tiptop-tier G1 4K Television set, which first debuted its OLED Evo technology back in early on 2022. The LG G2 also arrives in 55-, 65-, 77-, 83-, panel sizes, with pricing expected to fall in a like ballpark to its G1 predecessor.

The LG C2 debuts some significant improvements in 2022, delivering a tangible upgrade over the previous CX and C1 lineups. It now has the same OLED Evo console as the LG G2, which translates to effectually xx% brighter images than its standard OLED TVs.

The LG C2 too arrives in a 42-inch configuration, accompanying the previous 48- 55-, 65-, 77-, and 83-inch models, closer to many of the best 4K monitors for Xbox Serial X and PS5. This meaty model follows the announcement of 42-inch panels from LG Display dorsum at CES 2022, enabling more manufacturers to deliver smaller OLEDs moving in 2022.

The LG G2 and C2 also adopt 5.1.2 channel to seven.one.2 channel audio, improving overall sound quality versus earlier displays. They also include the aforementioned 4K 120Hz capabilities, with HDMI 2.i onboard, amongst the best 4K TVs for Xbox Series X and PS5 gaming.

LG also has several more affordable OLEDs to come up, including its B2 and C2 TVs, ditching the OLED Evo panel and lacking the newest Alpha ix Gen 5 processor. The LG B2 has 4K resolution visuals upward to 120Hz, with the aforementioned vii.1.2 aqueduct support, leaving it closer to older LG CX and C1 models. LG also has its 8K OLED, the LG Z2, set to return with new mountable 77- and 88-inch variants.

LG is expected to announce more than around the availability and pricing of its 2022 TVs closer to launch in the first half of 2022.
